Twig bag

Alentejo linen bag hand-embroidered with natural silk thread. Magnet closure, inside pocket and cotton lining. The design embroidered on this bag is an extract from a Tree of Life where, in addition to the fruit, some flower buds are also depicted.

The Tree of Life is an essential motif in Castelo Branco embroidery. Rounded fruit, flowers and birds are depicted along the branches of this element, often stylized and unidentifiable with reality, giving it an exotic and European aesthetic.
